So... I was looking around the new US site and found familiar chaos on the forum. Also:

Yes I have another cacti flower! This one is uber spcial because it stinks! really, it smells like rotting decaying things... but look at it, isn't it worth the smell? Of course it is! To be honest it's not really a very strong smell, but its enough to bring a few flies to it.

It's really odd though, the bud was still all tightly closed this morning, I checked! I've been keeping an eye on it for days as cacti flowers don't ever last very long so they're easy to miss when not in plain view. It must have just suddenly burst open. I went in my room to grab my bag and head off shopping when I sniffed the air and thought something was odd :-P

As you can see it's actually quite large. Thank you sunshine for making it open!

Unfortunately it's meant to be rainy again *sighs* Some days I hate British weather, does anywhere else manage to get all four seasons in one day?

I've been shopping with my Granny, I'm happy to say that I'm alive and that she was far more apreciative of Tokio Hotel when there is no Bill to see. She actually listens to the music rather than talking over it about how feminine he looks and why manly men are good too.

Me, Mum and Dad are off to Offwell woods tonigt for a BBQ and possible bat watching... which could turn into sitting and nattering in the gorgeous log cabin they have over there.

Two more Flower pics! )

EDIT: I just had an odd moment of my brain waking up. I think thats actually a succulent but not a cactus... the main distinction of a cactus is the spines coming out of areoles, now that I look at it, it definately seems to areoliless... lol I am stipid some days!... er most days. Whatever pretty flower!

Okay so I bought a frame at last and put my beloved Tokio Hotel autographed picture in it. I told several people that I would hang it above my bed because there is no room round my laptop. So here it is :-P

A closer look at the frame )

Been on a little road trip today with Dad to the trading estates around Exeter. We were looking for a plug socket charger for Mum's mp3 player but couldn't find one anywhere. We're going to have to order it online from the manufacturers website I think. I also picked up a usb hub in my journeys, useful!

I need to get used to travelling alone bumpy roads in cars again. Unless I have music of riveting conversation to distract me enough I am getting quite queasey from it. Dad's car radio is like completely useless, listening to static is not soothing for my poor head.

I despirately need to tidy my room the mess is driving me abosolutely insane and I managed to lose my folder of autographs in it yesterday and went on a rampage until I finally found it again. Yesterday I bought myself an address book (god it made me feel grown up) because I have gained a stack of paper and bits of envelope with various addresses written on. I foresaw that I would loose them all if I didn't do something soon. Fear me, I do have a streak of being organised in me somewhere... a very small streak and I don't advise trying to find it, think needle in a haystack :-P

EDIT: omg I cannot spell to save my life today :(
meridian_star: (Bill - eeee!)

It's coming along quite nicely I think *bounces*

please ignore the mess, I am trying to sort it, really I am!

I would just like to say thanks to everyone who commented on my last post *squishes you all * I love you all and I'm feeling happier.

We've had Star (our other rabbit) out to play in the garden. I ended up helping Dad catch her as she was giving us a chase, I was however in pointy heals so was sinking into the grass lolz. We've also had Annabel (the rat) out, who is hell bent on eating through our sofa... *shrugs* oh well!

So yeah, I got bored... er and made this (with much MUCH help from my Mum)

I'm such a Tokio Hotel geek... click for biggery.

Am feeling much better <333
meridian_star: (Bill - rette mich)
Can today please be over?

RIP James

I did get up the courage and said goodbye to him. He was still all fluffy and warm but just couldn't stand up... Dad just came home and hasn't even come in the house yet, he's outside digging the hole :(

In better news I now have Tokio Hotel pretties fom from the lovely [livejournal.com profile] nymphetamine_x_ <33333

Pretties )

To add to the crapness of my day though. I encountered a Slow Worm outside my door step. I love slow worms, one of the few British reptiles. They're protected in this country and their numbers have been dropping for years, so it makes me smile to see them... not when they're dead though. I picked it up to move it somewhere less open and in the way, it didn't move at all. I them noticed a squashed pretty butterfly on the door mat too.

*sighs*

More... I also dropped a jaw of pickled stuff and vinegar went all over the floor and my foot... my foot is ok though.

... please make this day be over?

wow....

I've been watching this cactus for DAYS! Seriously look at the size of the flower bud!!! It's almost as big as my thumb.

/cacti geekness ends here

In other news EEEE!!!! Tokio Hotel's 'Ready Set Go!' vid is now being shown on kerrang and mtv, oh how I wish I had those channels!
meridian_star: (Bill - star)
Okay now bare with me here. Yes this is a vid from that German band I love like BUT I want to know what YOU (yes, you, the non-Tokio Hotel obsessives out there on my f-list) think, what you really think.

It's called Ready, Set, Go! and is going to be their first UK single.

Ps. [livejournal.com profile] clairefairy1 yeah I totally stole you idea, but it's for a good cause ;)
meridian_star: (relax with Gustav)

First I'm just going to say that I had the most awesome day of my life, I feel very very lucky and a day like this will probably never happen again. While the rest of my life falls to pieces everything Tokio Hotel related somehow seems to run beyond smoothly and I seem to be accidentally in the right place at the right day. I traveled down to London with [livejournal.com profile] tiggerdabounce2 and [livejournal.com profile] nymphetamine_x_, we of course had Tokio Hotel playing in the car the whole way and I'm glad to say that we only got slightly lost once! GPS thingies are wondrous inventions, Tigger's actually tried to take us into the N1 Centre's car park (the Academy is in the N1 shopping centre) and it was here that we got our first glimpse of the queue at about 3pmish. There wasn't really space for all the girls actually and queue was a bit messed up with it stopping and start in various places to allow the shoppers to get to the car park and toilets.

I met up with [livejournal.com profile] claireyfairy1, [livejournal.com profile] beren_writes, [livejournal.com profile] thwax and lots of other online peeps which was awesome as I have never met any of them before and I pleased to say they were all lovely! We found a spot in the queue and kind of set up almost a camp site and joined the other 200 people who were already there. There wasn't actually much singing, kind of disappointing really but then I wasn't brave enough to start singing so I can't really talk on the matter! Most of the fans seemed to be French thought there was a fair number from Germany and Denmark too. I have never seen so many bewildered people before, no one had ever seen anything like this outside the Academy before as its a very small venue and big bands just don't play there. I got quizzed several times by shoppers about what was going on, I got quizzed by the checkout guy in Sainsbury's too while buying some food, of which I got half way through a scotch egg and then realized I was too nervous to eat!

The queue time went surprisingly quickly, I had fun handing out glow sticks to people and bumping into Ellie (from the uk forum) and [livejournal.com profile] lenorea who both recognized me first, its very confusing having your name called and not having a clue of the face to look for. We had a bit of excitement when Tokio Hotel arrived in their big silver cars, they were huge and had really tinted windows so we couldn't see a thing. I felt sorry for the security guard stood near us trying to calm the girls down. We were handed out pieces of paper a little later with the lyrics to Ready, Set, Go! it explained that they'd be filming for a special video for the song and that they wanted us to sing and entertain.

Theres more... )

Whats that? You want pictures! Okay then :-D Right we have many picture, click for bigger!

Picspam!!!! )

That wasn't even half my pictures!!!

EDIT: Right the pictures are now a far more managable size!

NOTE! I'm still fiddling with this post!
